Lucy has taken off on all fours and is pulling herself up on everything. She really likes playing at Andrew's train table even more now that she can crawl from halfway across the house to get there. She is also in the process of getting her second tooth, which appeared a few days ago. After that tooth, a cold and a night of screaming on and off the whole night, she's had a few good nights of sleeping. As a nine-month-old, Lucy likes going to bed by 7:30. She's also put herself back to sleep multiple times. Granted, she is also pulling herself up in her crib so we need to lower her mattress soon before she learns it's possible to climb of it.
Andrew has not been going to bed well recently. He's been prolonging bedtime for two hours and wouldn't stay in bed. I opted to try not putting him down for a nap this weekend in order to get him to bed more quickly at night.
(Note: Posted this on 3/12/12, but have no idea what I was going to say after the lines... did the not napping thing work? Not sure. It might have one day, but not the other. He still naps on occasion, but it doesn't seem to affect how easily he goes to bed at night... it just makes him wilder during the day until bedtime when he continues to postpone bedtime as much as we let him get away with)
